Firstly, I wanted to thank Shea of Speaking from the Sole for choosing me as her First Giveaway winner! I am thrilled to be receiving two gorgeous pieces of jewelry. Secondly, I wanted to apologize for the infinite time for my lack of posting-my posts may vanish altogether for the next week, though, because my final week of school will be full of tests, quizzes, and projects. So I hope this post is enough to last this blog for a week!
I have just viewed the gorgeous editorial above on TeenVogue.com, and had to share it. Photographed by Paul Wetherell, That 70's Show features big, beautiful hair, stripes, prints, and bright, candy colors. Every detail of the shoot, styled by Nancy Rohde, was a piece of eye-candy-from the dog, to the flowers in Siri and Dorte's hair. A blast from the past was exactly what the fashion world needed, and Teen Vogue displayed the trend in the most beautiful way imaginable. The models clad in Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenburg, M Missioni, and Pierre Hardy could not have looked more gorgeous-the 70's could not have looked better! I am personally grateful to Marc Jacobs for bringing this trend back to the fashion world. His beautiful SS '11 RTW collection brought back the past style to the runway-every single look was a vision of magnificence:
What do you think of the Teen Vogue editorial? Is Marc Jacob's version of 70's fashion the best way to go?
