New York Photo Diary

Jul 20, 2011

As I have mentioned endless times, my trip to NYC was incredible. Beyond that, in fact. This had a lot to do with the fact, that wherever I looked, it felt as if I was returning home. The feeling of coming home is stronger than I would have thought. I was worried, amongst my friends who have lived in Manhattan all their lives, I would look like a tourist. But in my mind, it was nothing of the sort. Everywhere I looked, I saw the beauty that I have missed for two years. I saw everything I would ever want, and, for two glorious weeks, everything I finally had. I hope you enjoying coming along with me on my trip, through these photos of the greatest city on earth.

Bloomingdales was my absolute favorite place to shop, or just window-shop. My heart literally lurched every time I stepped into a yellow cab. Walking down 5th avenue was a dream come true. And every shot of Manhattan is a memory for me-I am so happy I am able to share my memories with all of readers. Has anyone else been to NYC this summer?

  1. The louis vuitton store front and the sight of bloomingdales just gets me. I need to get out more, by more I mean to the big city and hopefully one day the big apple.

  2. Bloomingdales is amazing, I so want to go back to New York!

  3. Isn't Bloomie's in NYC amazing??? I love shopping in New York, but to be honest the shopping in Chicago is my absolute favorite. Looks like you had a great trip!

  9. Wow, it looks like such an amazing trip! I have not been back to NYC since I was a child, would love to go again! By the way, I'm following you now!

  10. Hey hey! Thanks for the comment. I love your bio about why you blog, that's sort of what I'm about too. It's a little sickening to see those girls who spend so much on their clothes because that's not what dressing is all about. It's about expression! Beautiful photos of NY, I can't wait to visit there soon!

  11. I totally love this city!
