The prestigious Met Ball just took place on Monday. The red carpet was glittering with Prada looks, daring red carpet ensembles, and the latest Spring collections on every invitee's back. This year's Met Ball had a stunning variety of runway looks. From Sarah Jessica Parker's 80's Valentino look to Joan Small's bold Balmain dress, there was no lack of red-carpet diversity. The greatest trend spotted on the red carpet, though, was the celebrity or model coming with their favorite designers. Each pair were gloriously suited for one another, the designer and invitee both dressed in the same label. The designers chose the most perfect girl for their creations. Karlie Kloss, Jason Wu's ultimate muse, was adorned in one of Wu's most gorgeous looks, earning my vote for best dressed. Other fabulous designer+starlet pairs, was Zac Posen and Amber Heard, both in flamboyant Posen originals. This year's Met Ball has been utterly wonderful, with perfect couples and pairs glamorously strutting across the red carpet.
In other news, the Audi Fashion Festival is taking place in Singapore next week and I am overly delighted about attending! After Singapore was named the 8th most fashionable city on earth, the amount of style Singapore holds has greatly escalated. This year, among multiple incredible designers, Mugler, Roland Mouret, and Zac Posen will all be displaying their latest collections in Singapore. I will be watching both the Zac Posen and Roland Mouret collections! (And with one of my favorite bloggers, Veena!) I could not be more excited! More than one post will definitely be dedicated to the upcoming event, so stay tuned.
