Bali Sunshine.

Nov 2, 2012

For a perfect four days last week, my family and I  travelled to the beautiful town of Bali, Indonesia to spend a lovely vacation swimming, reading by the beach, and enjoying all the wonderful spa treatments Bali has to offer.
Every sunset burst into our eyes with no restraint whatsoever. Beams of light shone over Bali for the entire duration of our stay. Although we get our fair share of sun in Singapore, Bali's warm, quaint sunshine was a welcomed natural source of light. Days on the beach were characterized by the sun sparkling above us. While reading through multiple novels, the sun illuminated every word with a piercing sharpness. Each color in the beautiful Tugu Hotel Bali was strikingly beautiful. A multitude of flowers, from hibiscuses to frangipanis to marigolds, brightened up every corner of the tranquil boutique hotel, which has previously been featured in Vogue Nippon and ELLE. Browsing through the latest issues of Glamour and Teen Vogue while listening to the smooth movements of the water on Canggu beach is basically my ideal holiday. A well-deserved break from the chaos of high school and city life should always include a relaxing location. Bali is the definition of an ideal location, with its gleaming ocean made up of ombre-like blue tones and soft sand that can always be found in any pair of flip-flops. In addition to moments spent on the beach, I had the pleasure of getting a manicure and pedicure at the stunning Tugu Spa. With the sun in my eyes, a freshly-painted coat of purple nail polish on my fingers, and a stack of magazines always at my side, the holiday in Bali was utterly perfect for me.
