India 2012.

For three lovely weeks in December, my family and I went to the beautiful city of Calcutta, India for our annual family holiday. In the city, which was glowing with sunshine for the entire trip,  we enjoyed the company of our family and friends. While the majority of time could be spent indoors, I cherished every relaxing moment. It was a break from the hectic high school life I lead in Singapore. We basked in the sunlight the city offered, and tried not to freeze in the crisp weather at the same time – in a place like Singapore, cold weather is unknown of and we were not used to it! Being back in the city I think of as home was truly wonderful, even slightly emotional. Reuniting with family members who I meet every six months is always something that I anticipate throughout the year. Although Moments with Meera focuses on the world of fashion, this post is one of the few that will aim to share a little piece of my life with my readers. And to me, India is one of the most important, unique things in my life – this love for the country is something I will never lose. To commemorate the vacation, here is a little photo diary consisting of my Instagram photos.
