All Images from Vogue.comIn a post-Valentine's day daze, red is a color that many of us could go without seeing for a while. The internet, the streets, the malls – everywhere I looked, there was a flood of pinks and reds. But as designers simultaneously unleash their much-anticipated Fall 2013 collections, red is a color that has inevitably been included in more than one set of looks. This season marks many headline-worthy fashion new stories – with John Galliano making a comeback at Oscar de la Renta, and Alexander Wang taking over at Balenciaga, Fall 2013 is a dramatic, bold season unlike any other. The color red is a reflection of these times, and the hue is prominent on the stunning runways of NYFW. New York collections always seem to possess an edgy, sleek, and tough appeal to them; black and white are always a part of the ensembles at modern design houses. This season does not differ, but a splash of color every now and then added a lovely touch to collections at Jason Wu, Rodarte, Diane von Furstenburg, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Derek Lam. What do you think of the color and its wonderful presence on runways?
