It's been a while since I have posted a legitimate outfit post, and I believe the dress I have worn above is such a simplistic, yet statement-making, way of doing so. The clean, azure-toned silk dress – made in India – is fulfilled with a simple silhouette and delicate woven detail around the neckline. I wore this dress in the sunshine of Delhi, India's capital, for a party, set in the background of a beautiful garden full of lush foliage and breathtaking nature. Sunlight dabbled many of the hundreds of photographs taken during the course of our trip, as you can see above. My sister and I both opted for simple blue dresses, although the exact hue of blue that we decided on were vastly different from one another. While her's was leaning toward a midnight blue tone, my dress resembled the color of Delhi's current cerulean sky.
A minimal amount of accessories and additional details completed my look; just a small pair of earrings, a dab of my absolute favorite Giorgio Armani lipstick, and my extremely well-worn New Look wedges. At times, the stereotypical idea of a fashion blogger – someone with a wardrobe where no recycling occurs whatsoever – certainly does not apply to me. I love sticking to the basics of my closet, and whenever I am shopping, I look for items that can be worn on a regular basis. The striped wedges are a wonderful option for any sort of look, and it added a welcome sliver of print into my outfit. Below, I have created a set that reflects the mood and tone of the my own outfit. The dresses come in an array of shades of blue, and a delightful pair of Red Valentino wedges tops off the look. What do you think of this outfit?
