H&M's Autumn Lookbook: Effortless Elegance
Fall evokes a flurry of trends, very often recycled, into stores and runways across the world. As September begins, so begins the month of fashion: Spring 2014 collections bursting from the four major capitals of the world, while stores are quietly stocking up on fall and winter essentials. It is in the spirit of Fall – a season that is sidetracked by Spring's dominance in fashion – that I am sharing my love for H&M's Fall 2013 'Effortless Elegance' lookbook. In a series of images, revealed online, the beautiful Frida Gustavsson (one of my favorite models of all time) dons the brand's lovely ensembles of Fall, wearing pieces which all fashion consumers will be coveting shortly. From tailored black pencil skirts to pleated, simplistic LBDs, H&M has taken the essentials of any fall wardrobe and worked their signature magic: the magic of making classic clothing modern. Add a pop of baby-pink hues, studded heels, and androgynous (perhaps YSL-inspired?) hats, collars, and ribbons. A swoon-worthy collection, without a doubt and another wonderful visual portrayal of it. What do you think of H&M's latest collection + lookbook?
