Its a new year, full of opportunity for new moments and memories to be created. If this isn't reason enough to be excited, we can simultaneously look forward to the upcoming seasons of fashion – sure to be bolder and brighter. One such collection to anticipate is courtesy of everyone's favorite high-street label, H&M. Launching in Singapore on the 6th of March, H&M Spring 2014 brings a new element to Spring fashion – the reinvention of bohemian chic. On a sunny Friday afternoon during Thanksgiving break (this post is evidently long overdue), I ventured to the impeccable H&M showroom tucked behind the store's massive Orchard Road location. While there, I, along with all the editors and fashion bloggers, was busy Instagramming the latest cult products the brand was to offer, as well as spending quite a few minutes merely admiring the stunning Spring 2014 collection. H&M never fails to impress, and has upheld it's prestigious reputation with its latest offerings. I was lucky to be given a private viewing of the new pieces, as well as a peek into the brand's new sportswear line - which is sure to bring motivation to exercise.
Every press preview is accompanied with incessant photo-taking chances. Above is a compilation of my Instagram pictures, along with others by some of Singapore's top fashion bloggers.
1. Cat-eye sunglasses (resembling those that are often donned by one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Rumi Neely) and quirky star-shaped hoop earrings. | 2. The fabulous sportswear line, with a color palette ranging from bold magentas to neon shades. | 3. A beautiful over-the-shoulder handbag (definitely on my wishlist) in a smooth tangerine, along with many printed scarfs perfect for any sort of layering. | 4. A photograph from Drea Chong's Instagram account, of the sublime H&M showroom in Singapore. | 5. My own Instagram photo, of the adorable bucket-shaped bags sure to be seen on every street style blog in the coming months. | 6. Fash-Eccentric's photo of the many new clothes H&M is providing its dedicated fans.
What do you think of the H&M's latest collection? Be sure to check it out once it hits the stores, starting in March!
