With Spring many months away, it is still the season to choose moody, somber tones that reflect winter's cool ambiance can be both suitable and chic. That theme in mind led to perfect Polyvore inspiration, and the ensemble above was born. Its contents? The following aspects that are sure to result in a covetable outfit. A slouchy white pullover was the starting point, with the street-style chic brand Acne serving as the provider. Its perfect match is a skort – which seems to have taken the blogging world by storm – with the contrasting black. While black and white is far from a new concept, taking the classic route is sometimes the most effective and powerful way to present yourself. To enhance the look, accessories can add the touch of fun it deserves. Cat-cornered sunnies and a pair of stilettos that every girl should own do the trick, as long as the Proenza Schouler clutch that will eternally remain on my wish-list (until I hopefully manage to receive it someday.) The outfit, evidently, has a lack of color, though not a lack of appeal. A most subtle solution, and possibly an upcoming trend, is to dress up the look with striking nails. Butter London, the brand whose smooth tones will perpetually come in handy, has a beautiful grape-esque option. And there, with all these elements, comes together an outfit that off-duty models and editors should be wearing during the upcoming fashion months and one that I should soon be donning.
