With polished, Rumi-Neely-esque closet staples, a beautiful, simplistic color palette and on-point photography, Bea Marin is a blogger to know. Ever since discovering her blog this year, I've been addicted to seeing her latest sartorial offerings and wonderful Instagram posts. Style inspiration and a great outlook on life and individuality – her blog is both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing. As a fellow fashion blogger (and a Zara fanatic!), I am so glad Bea and I have connected recently. She gives Moments with Meera readers a little peek into her life.
I was always fond of journals and scrapbooks as a child— writing my experiences, adding pictures and decorations. So when I decided to create a personal blog 4 years ago, it only seemed natural taking my journal online. However, the switch from personal to fashion is a different story. It started when I created lookbook for inspiration purposes only but it introduced me to a whole new side of fashion blogging.

5. What are your plans for the future?
I'm not necessarily the type to settle for one path. I always like to keep myself busy by multi-tasking. What I plan is staying on a certain career path while taking other sidelines. I'm currently in my college sophomore year as an interior design student, so hopefully this is will be one of the things I'll pursue.

Same concept applies for blogs: be unique in a sense you stay true to your brand. Whether for personal, blog or sponsored posts, always keep a creative flow. I always make it a point that my images are of high quality and in natural or good lighting. Break clichés and never copy other's work!

Balenciaga, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Elie Saab and Chanel.
9. Do you plan on pursuing fashion in the future?
I do see myself pursuing something related to fashion but not necessarily as a designer. After working as a magazine correspondent, it has deepen my passion for writing. I just fell in love with the idea of fashion journalism and the whole creative process of working behind a magazine. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute as a fashion editor someday.

A recent full spread feature on Style Weekend magazine x Manila Bulletin newspaper. It was such a big recognition as a blogger being published in one of the Philippine's leading newspapers!
