Top: FemmeX c/o Zalora, High-Waisted: Forever 21, Heels: Topshop Singapore, Earrings: c/o Naked Pearls, Necklace: The Ordinary Co.

Last week, my lovely friend Sid and I explored Chijmes, an area is defined by cluster of restaurants,  combined with Singapore's lovely, old-style architecture. We were surrounded by dramatic pillars, white-patterned doors, and an intricately designed atmosphere all around. Simply put, it was the perfect location, one of the more historically-inclined ones on this island. We walked around for a little over an hour, exploring everything it had to offer. Sid found the most gorgeous spots in the area – from the spiralled staircases to the bridge right in front of Chijmes' church. The clean white backdrop and plenty of natural light were just a few more contributing factors to the ethereal beauty of the look – hence the title of this post. I've been so excited to share this look with my readers – not only does it feature some gorgeous Singapore-based brands, but it also features Naked Pearls, an Australian jewellery company I've had the pleasure of working with.

I wore this FemmeX crop-top (c/o Zalora), which is most characterized by its criss-cross pattern at the back. With crop-tops, I like to wear a pair of high-waisted shorts; the combination always shows a bit of midriff while still being ideal for a day-time ensemble. Jewellery, of course, was the central aspect of this outfit, with both The Ordinary Co. and Naked Pearls making an appearance. Both brands have creations that evoke this 'ethereal' vibe, as jewellery is so often capable of doing. The Ordinary Co. has made quite  a reputation for itself in Singapore, with its sublime collection of both statement and simple pieces. This particular necklace would most definitely be marked as a statement piece. I'm in love with the white and silver gems, which easily take any minimalistic look to the next level. The other brand, Naked Pearls, offers four distinct types of pearls – freshwater, Akoya, South Sea, and Tahitian. Each product has stunning, mirror-like reflections, using a pearl grading system that can be found on the website. I've been wearing the beautiful pearl earrings, so generously gifted to me, ever since I received them. Whether it was for prom night or just a brunch out (all seen on my Instagram account!), I found that pearls are truly the most versatile and aesthetically-pleasing of options. The pair I am wearing are large enough to be noticed – unlike the two other subtle Lovisa studs I wear on a regular basis. Most importantly, though, Naked Pearls services an important cause that needs to be increasingly supported. With every item of jewellery purchased, the store provides three meals to a person in need through the organization Stop Hunger Now. Buying any one of their pieces has two advantages – owning beautiful jewellery and supporting the cause in the first place.
